Hi there.
It's nice to have u stop-by.
I am reminded of a scene from the movie, 'my one and only', starring Renee Zellwegger as Ann, the zestful wife of a band leader and mother of two young boys, George and Robbin.
Ann leaves her husband, buys a cadillac, and goes on an adventure, with her kids, to find a 'better man' and to have a good life.
After series of dispiriting experience, and having run out of money, she decides to visit her sister whom she had little love for.
Now, this sister lived piously with her husband in St. Louis but had no kids.
Now both sisters are celebrating Ann's recent capture of a potential husband with her son, George, when things take a twist and her sister lashes out, vents pent-up envy and dismay at Ann's frivolousness and the cruelty/unfairness of life.
Her grouse being that she in comparison with her sister, Ann, is a faithful and proper woman yet Ann who is adulterous, reckless, and no mother figure, is blessed with TWO KIDS!
''There is no God!'', she rages from frustration.
It brings me to ponder...
How are the blessings,
the bounties,
the joy and happiness,
and life's fulfillments distributed?
Does life random-sample whom to favour,
and who not to?
